Popular music executive Paulo Okoye has named Burna Boy as Nigeria’s wealthiest musician, revealing that the artist earned a staggering $80 million in 2023 alone.
Okoye shared this information during an Instagram live session with well-known podcaster Daddy Freeze. He remarked, “The only person making serious money in Nigeria is Burna Boy. He earned at least $80 to $100 million four years ago. Burna Boy is the richest.”
He also highlighted Burna Boy’s streamlined team, noting, “Burna Boy is on another level. What’s impressive is that he works with a very small unit of people—just his mother, sister, and a few others. His team consists of fewer than eight people, with everyone else being contractors or consultants.”
