Following his projected win in the United States 2024 presidential election, global leaders have taken to social media to congratulate the former President and Republican Candidate, Donald Trump.
French President, Emmanuel Macron, was among the first to offer his congratulations via X (formerly Twitter). Macron expressed his readiness to continue working with Trump, as they had during Trump’s previous term. “Congratulations, President @realDonaldTrump. Ready to work together as we did for four years. With your convictions and mine. With respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity,” Macron wrote.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also extended his heartfelt congratulations to Trump and his wife, Melania, in a message shared on X.
“Dear Donald and Melania Trump, Congratulations on history’s greatest comeback! Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America,” Netanyahu stated.
Netanyahu, along with his wife Sara, celebrated Trump’s victory, calling it “a huge victory” and reaffirming their strong bond with the Trumps. “In true friendship, yours, Benjamin and Sara Netanyahu,” he added.
