Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska claimed the third spot with a time of 12.78 seconds.
Earlier in the week, Amusan came in second place behind Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico at the Lausanne Diamond League, recording a season-best matching time of 12.47 seconds.
The 26-year-old athlete, who is the reigning world champion and record holder, will defend her title at the upcoming World Athletics Championship in Budapest later this year.
Amusan had an exceptional 2022 season, showcasing her talent and skill at various prestigious events including the Diamond League, Commonwealth Games, and World Athletics Championships.
She made history as the first Nigerian world champion, achieving a wind-aided time of 12.06 seconds in the 100m hurdles (although ineligible as a world record due to strong wind conditions).
Continuing her success, Amusan secured a gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and retained her Diamond League title, culminating in a remarkable season.
In recognition of her achievements, she was nominated for the 2023 Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year award in February, which honors outstanding individuals and teams in the world of sports.
