Tinubu to return to Abuja Today after China, UK trips

President Bola Tinubu will return to Abuja today, Sunday, following a two-week official visit to China and the United Kingdom.

Bayo Onanuga, the president’s special assistant on information and strategy, stated on Saturday.

During his tour, Tinubu met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and the two leaders signed five memoranda of understanding (MoU) on behalf of Nigeria and China.

The Memorandums of Understanding cover commerce, infrastructure development, media cooperation, and security upgrades.

Tinubu stated that he was devoted to emulating Chinese infrastructure in Nigeria.

The president left Beijing for London, where he met with King Charles III.

Olusegun Dada, the president’s new media aide, stated on Thursday that Tinubu and King Charles addressed climate change and action.
