President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday for the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit.
The conference, which will begin on Monday, November 11, is being held at the invitation of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Bayo Onanuga, the president’s special adviser on information and strategy, stated that the meeting is scheduled to address a number of vital regional issues, with a focus on the current Israel-Palestine conflict.

The statement reads:

“Nigeria will also advocate for renewed efforts to revive the two-state solution as a pathway to lasting peace in the region.”
President Tinubu will be accompanied to the conference by Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Advisor; Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information; and Mohammed Mohammed, Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
