Tinubu returns to Nigeria after France, South Africa trips

Tinubu was in France from November 27 to December 1 on a three-day state visit at the invitation of his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria following his official trips to France and South Africa.

At approximately 9:10 p.m. on Wednesday, the Nigerian Air Force 1 carrying Tinubu landed at the presidential wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

The president was greeted by Abdullahi Ganduje, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC); Femi Gbajabiamila, chief of staff (CoS); Nyesom Wike, minister of the federal capital territory (FCT); Nuhu Ribadu, national security adviser (NSA); and other top government officials.

Tinubu was in France from November 27 to December 1 on a three-day state visit at the invitation of his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

On December 1, he left France for Cape Town to co-chair the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC) meeting alongside President Cyril Ramaphosa.
