Ahmed Galadima Aminu has been appointed as the executive secretary and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) by President Bola Tinubu.
Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to the president and publicity, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday.
He added that the appointment is for a four-year term in the first instance.
Aminu previously served as the general manager of the PTDF’s education and training department.
Ngelale stated that Aminu’s appointment followed the retirement application submitted by PTDF’s outgoing CEO, Bello Aliyu.
The presidential spokesperson also stated that Aliyu had begun a 90-day pre-retirement leave on September 26.
