President Bola Tinubu has left Abuja, Nigeria, for the G20 summit in New Delhi, India.
Tinubu left in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The summit is scheduled for September 9 and 10.
Presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale, on Friday, stated that Tinubu hopes to attract foreign investments to the country during the summit.
Ngelale said Tinubu will meet with world leaders and heads of state. He added that he will also meet industry titans and CEOs of some of the world’s most valuable corporations.
Ngelale said Tinubu would host a roundtable meeting with more than 20 CEOs from various economic sectors during the summit.
While the president is in India, the presidential election tribunal will rule on petitions challenging his victory in the February election on Wednesday.
