President Bola Tinubu has congratulated President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa on his re-election.
President Tinubu also congratulated South Africans on the peaceful and successful conduct of the general election held on 29 May. He called for the strengthening of bilateral ties between Nigeria and South Africa as strategic partners in Africa for the overall advancement of the continent.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa was reelected by lawmakers for a second term on Friday, after his party struck a dramatic late coalition deal with a former political foe just hours before the vote.
