The appointment of a new management team for the Nigeria Customs Service has been approved by President Bola Tinubu.
This comes just weeks after the President appointed Adewale Adeniyi as acting Comptroller General of Customs and retired some of the service’s management.
The appointees include three deputy comptroller generals and three assistant comptroller generals, according to a statement signed by the service’s National Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Maiwada.
In the statement, Adeniyi congratulated the newly appointed officers while thanking the retired members of the management for their meritorious service.
He charged them with redoubling their efforts to ensure the service’s success in revenue generation, smuggling suppression, and trade facilitation.
The appointed officers include, “DCG FO Okun, DCG MBA Musa, DCG A Hamisu, ACG K Olumoh, ACG AB Mohammed, ACG A Alajogun,”
