On October 17, 2023, the rising artist surprised Nigerians by revealing the launch of his self-owned record label, Plutomania Records, while also introducing two new artists, Zerryl and Tega Boi, under his label. Shallipopi, already signed with Dapper Music, showcased his entrepreneurial spirit with this move.

Apple Music recognized Shallipopi as one of the five rapidly ascending artists in Nigeria during the country’s 63rd independence celebration. He shared the spotlight with fellow breakout sensation ODUMODUBLVCK, awarded Rookie of the Year at the 2023 Headies. The list also included Seyi Vibez, honored for the Best Street Hop song with ‘Chance,’ fast-rising Mavin signee Bayyani, and gospel music sensation Victor Thompson.
