Afrobeats star Wizkid has sparked controversy with a cryptic post ahead of his colleague Davido’s wedding to his fiancée Chioma Rowland.

Davido recently confirmed that he and Chioma will be getting married on June 25 in Lagos, despite recent allegations of infidelity against him.

On Sunday evening, the DMW boss shared his pre-wedding photos with Chioma on social media.

Wizkid caused a stir by tweeting “Lol(lots of laughs)” shortly after Davido released the photos. On Monday morning, he posted what some fans interpreted as a subtle dig at Davido.

On his X handle, Wizkid wrote: “Saying a prayer for every understanding woman on earth! Your king loves you.”

The post garnered mixed reactions, with many speculating it was a jab at Chioma, who has stood by Davido despite cheating allegations.

Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, recently confirmed that she and Davido rekindled their romance between 2020 and 2022, overlapping with his relationship with Chioma.
