On Wednesday, the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal rejected the European Union Election Observers Mission report on the February 25th presidential election, which Peter Obi and the Labour Party had submitted.
The court rejected the report because an official of the body, which is the author and has custody of the document, did not tender it.
The court also rejected the 18,088 blurred results sheets that the petitioners tendered because they did not tie them to any of the polling units referred to in their petition.
According to the PUNCH, Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party had earlier tendered the actual copy of the report while prosecuting their petition before the tribunal.
