The singer is charging $3 million to perform his global hit song 'Calm Down' at the event.

Nigerian afrobeats megastar Rema has arrived in India to perform at the wedding of Anant Ambani, the son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharma tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant.

On Instagram Thursday night, the ‘Calm Down’ singer shared a video of himself walking towards a private chartered plane, dressed in an all-black outfit. He set the clip to ‘Azaman’ from his recently released sophomore album, ‘He Is,’ and added an emoji of the Indian tricolor.

According to the Hindustan Times, Rema is charging $3 million to perform his global hit song ‘Calm Down’ at the event.

Canadian singer Justin Bieber reportedly received $10 million for his performance, while pop star Rihanna also performed at the event for an undisclosed fee.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to tie the knot on July 12 at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. The four-day wedding extravaganza in Mumbai marks the final celebration in a series of lavish parties the family has hosted since March.

Prominent guests include Kim Kardashian, former UK PMs Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, former Swedish PM Carl Bildt, and former Canadian PM Stephen Harper, among others.
