Canadian rapper Drake announced on his SiriusXM radio show that he’s taking a break from music to focus on recurring stomach issues and prioritize his health.
“I probably won’t make music for a little bit, I’m gonna be honest,” he said on his SiriusXM radio show Table For One, adding: “I need to focus on my health first and foremost… I need to get right.”
“I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach,” he explained.
Despite just releasing his latest album, “For All The Dogs,” he expressed the need for this hiatus due to persistent health problems related to his stomach.
His son, Adonis, contributed to the album’s artwork, and Drake had to cancel and postpone upcoming concerts in the United States.
However, he mentioned fulfilling prior commitments and hinted at a break that might last a year or even longer.
