President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has attended the 38th Ordinary Session of the African Union Heads of State and Government in Addis Ababa.
On Saturday, President Tinubu and the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu attended the summit with the theme: Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Repatriations.
Tinubu co-launched the campaign on the theme of the AU summit lauded the advocacy on the need for Africa to seek redress and plan a more dignified future for the continent of Africa.
Earlier at the summit, President Tinubu participated in the health, finance and climate change special sessions, where he was represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation as well as the Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy.
It would be recalled that Nigeria recently secured key diplomatic wins, including the re-election of Ambassador Bankole Adeoye, as Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security at the African Union Commission.
