The Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) has visited President Bola Tinubu in Lagos.
Tinubu arrived in Lagos from Abuja on Thursday evening via presidential jet at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The president was greeted by a waiting crowd of supporters and Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
On Tuesday, the governors were seen boarding a bus to the president’s residence in a video led by their chairman, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
They gathered at Lagos House in Marina and proceeded to the president’s residence.
Vice-President Kashim Shettima and the president’s chief of staff (CoS), Femi Gbajabiamila, were also present during the visit.
Among those who visited the president were Hope Uzodinma of Imo; Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Godwin Obaseki of Edo; Abba Yusuf of Kano; Hyacinth Alia of Benue; Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau, Umar Dikko Radda of Katsina.
Others are Lucky Aiyedatiwa, acting governor of Ondo; Ahmed Usman Ododo, governor-elect of Kogi; Dapo Abiodun of Ogun; Ahmad Aliyu of Sokoto; Uba Sani of Kaduna; Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Francis Nwifiuru of Ebonyi; Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers.
