Abdullahi Ganduje, the newly appointed national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has presided over his first national working committee (NWC) meeting.
The meeting took place at the party’s national secretariat located in Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria.
Ganduje secured the position of national chairman following his election during a national executive committee (NEC) session held in Abuja.
During the NEC meeting, Ajibola Basiru, a former senate spokesperson, was also elected as the party’s national secretary.
Ganduje’s appointment comes as a replacement for Abdullahi Adamu, who stepped down from his role as national chairman in July.
