Oyo APC chairman, Ajiboye Omodewu is dead

Omodewu was born on April 16, 1963, in Otu, Itesiwaju LGA, Oyo State.

Ajiboye Omodewu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Oyo State, has died.

Omodewu died in the U.S. He reportedly departed Nigeria in November 2023 to address an unidentified illness.

Olawale Sadare, Oyo APC‘s press secretary, confirmed the politician’s death to TheCable.

In 2021, Omodewu was chosen chairman of the Oyo APC.

He served as the commissioner of land, housing, survey, and urban development during former Oyo Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s administration.

Omodewu was born on April 16, 1963, in Otu, Itesiwaju LGA, Oyo State.

He completed his secondary school at Baptist Modern School in Otu and Ansar-u-deen High School in Saki.

He obtained his A-level certificate in accounting at the Yaba College of Technology and earned a B.Sc in accounting at the City University of New York.
