The All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned what it perceives as a concerted effort by opposition parties to cause unrest and destabilize the government through orchestrated mass protests.
In a press release signed by Felix Morka, Esq., the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, the party alleges that opposition elements are deliberately inciting unsuspecting young people to take to the streets in protest, aiming to discredit the APC-led administration.
The statement highlights recent protests in Minna and Kano as evidence of this purported scheme, suggesting that the simultaneous occurrence of demonstrations in both cities points to a coordinated effort to undermine the government’s authority.
Describing this tactic as “devious and unpatriotic,” the APC warns that such actions significantly threaten public peace and national security. While acknowledging citizens’ right to peaceful protest, the party urges Nigerians to remain vigilant and reject the manipulative ploys of the opposition.
The administration, led by President Bola Tinubu, reaffirms its commitment to implementing crucial reforms aimed at economic recovery and sustainable prosperity for all Nigerians.
