My social media has been stagnant since I left Mark Angel Comedy – Denilson Igwe

He stated that his social media pages were hacked the week he left the comedy group in 2019.

Popular Nigerian skit maker, Denilson Igwe, has opened up about the challenges he has faced since leaving Mark Angel Comedy.

Mark Angel Comedy, a widely popular comedy channel, gained significant traction starting in 2013, amassing over a billion views and nine million subscribers on YouTube. The channel is headed by Mark Angel and has featured various comic acts, including Emmanuella and Igwe.

In a recent interview on ‘The Honest Bunch’ Podcast, Igwe revealed that his social media accounts were hacked the week he left the comedy group in 2019.

“They hacked my YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram pages the week I left Mark Angel Comedy,” Igwe shared. “Since that time, I was told to do something I do not understand, but the pages do not go forward or backward. Since 2019 till now, the social media pages have not added one follower. It is just there like that.”

Igwe had previously claimed to be the founder of the comedy channel and accused Mark Angel of monetizing it without his consent.
