Mr Macaroni slams government over the murder of Nabeeha by kidnappers

"6 sisters were kidnapped and 1 has been killed. What is the government doing to ensure that the remaining 5 are not killed? Common!!!! Where is the value for human lives in Nigeria???? How many more must die???. "

Nigerian comedian and activist, Mr Macaroni, has strongly criticized the government in the wake of the kidnapping of six girls in Abuja, which resulted in the tragic murder of one of them.

Expressing his sorrow on the microblogging app, X, the comedian lamented the death of young Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar and condemned the killing. He questioned the government’s actions to ensure the safety of the remaining five kidnapped girls.

“It’s so sad to hear about the death of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar. 6 sisters were kidnapped and 1 has been killed. What is the government doing to ensure that the remaining 5 are not killed? Common!!!! Where is the value for human lives in Nigeria???? How many more must die???, ” he said on the app.

In a separate tweet, Mr Macaroni called on the government to put an end to the recurring incidents of kidnapping and killing of innocent Nigerians.

“How many more Nigerians will be sacrificed on the alter of irresponsibility and recklessness? The life of every Nigerian matters. Irrespective of our tribe or religion. Every Nigerian Matters!!! The Government MUST rise up to the occasion and put an end to this barbarism,” his tweet read.

The tragic incident involved the abduction of Nabeeha and her family members, with kidnappers demanding a ₦60 million ransom for the release of the girls. Despite efforts to gather funds from sympathizers, the deadline passed without meeting the kidnappers’ demands, leading to the heartbreaking murder of Nabeeha. The incident has sparked widespread outrage, prompting calls for government intervention to protect its citizens.
