Kellyrae has emerged the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 9, after ten weeks of intense strategic gameplay and emotional highs and lows.
As the champion of the ‘No Loose Guard’ season, Kellyrae takes home a brand new SUV and a grand cash prize of 60 million naira.
The finale kicked off with Biggie delivering his final words of wisdom to the remaining housemates, followed by an energetic introduction from the host, Ebuka. Fans were treated to a nostalgic montage featuring highlights from both current and evicted housemates, setting the stage for the night’s celebrations.
Nigerian music stars Joeboy and Qing Madi performed, adding to the electrifying atmosphere before the first eviction of the evening.
Sooj was the first to be evicted, and during his post-eviction chat with Ebuka, he shared insights about his relationship with fellow housemate Nelly. “We’re building an understanding,” Sooj said about their connection. Anita was the next to leave, expressing excitement about reuniting with evicted housemate Topher.
As the night progressed, Nelly, Ozee, and Victoria were also shown the exit door. Ozee left a memorable impression with his lighthearted explanation about his poolside encounter with Onyeka, while Victoria expressed her eagerness to return to work, maintaining that her friendship with Shaun remains intact.
Onyeka was the final housemate to be evicted, making Kellyrae and Wanni the last two standing. Kellyrae, visibly excited, told Ebuka that he was thrilled to have broken the record for married housemates making it this far in the competition. Wanni, on the other hand, expressed surprise at being in the finale and declared her readiness to “take over the world” after her time in the house.
