Nigerian singer John Ighodaro, popularly known as Johnny Drille, and his wife, Rima Tahini, have joyously welcomed their daughter into the world.
The birth of their daughter was officially announced on Thursday via Johnny Drille’s official X account.
In his announcement, he wrote, “Six weeks ago today, we held our daughter in our arms for the first time. It’s hard to explain, but it’s the most miraculous thing I’ve ever known.
“I pray to God to help me be the best father for our daughter.”

Additionally, the singer shared a heartfelt video capturing moments before and after his daughter’s birth and revealed her name: Amaris, which symbolizes ‘God’s promise fulfilled.’
Johnny Drille’s wedding pictures gained widespread attention in July 2023, and his wife, the director of Artiste and Repertoire (A&R) at Mavin Records, celebrated their first anniversary on January 5, 2023.
