Tito Jackson, the renowned musician, founding member of the iconic Jackson 5 and brother of the late Michael Jackson, has died at the age of 70.
His children shared the heartbreaking news, leaving fans and loved ones grieving the loss.
Preliminary medical reports suggest that Tito suffered a fatal heart attack, though the Jackson family is yet to confirm the official cause.
He leaves behind his three sons Taj, Taryll, and TJ who carry on his musical legacy with their group, 3T, as well as his grandchildren. Tito’s ex-wife, Delores Martes, tragically passed away in 1994.
In a heartfelt statement, his children said: “With heavy hearts, we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson, is no longer with us. We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken. Our father was an extraordinary man who deeply cared for everyone’s well-being.”
Tito’s passing is a profound loss for the Jackson family and the global music community, following the earlier deaths of his brother Michael in 2009 and their father Joe Jackson in 2018.
