I’ll win 2027 presidential election – Kwankwaso

The former governor of Kano has warned Nigerians not to be duped by gifts or money during the next general election.

Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former Kano governor, claims he would win the 2027 presidential election.

Kwankwaso, the national head of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), said on Saturday while inaugurating the party’s rebuilt Katsina office.

The former senator told NAN that the NNPP is prepared to take over the presidency and states when general elections are held in 2027.

Kwankwaso stated that he and his followers left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) because “it is dead”.

He said:

“I wish to remind you that PDP is already dead, because we were in the party, since they have gone out of the line, we decided to check out.”

The former governor of Kano has warned Nigerians not to be duped by gifts or money during the next general election.

Kwankwaso stated that the remodelling of the state secretariat is “part of preparations for success.”

Armaya’u Abdulkadir, the NNPP’s Katsina chair, stated that the party is doing all necessary to educate voters about the party’s new emblem.

According to Abdulkadir, the new emblem represents universal education, which is the Kwankwasiyya leader’s primary focus.

He said:

“There is the need for the party to embark on grassroots sensitisation to inform the members on the importance of the new logo.”
