Actress Iyabo Ojo has announced that she will not be attending the reunion for “The Real Housewives of Lagos” season two.
She made this decision after careful consideration and listening to the advice of her family, loved ones, and the brands she works with.
Taking to her Instagram, she stated, “After a lot of back and forth, I choose to listen to my family, loved ones, most especially my man and my children, and also the brands I work with, so I will not be attending the RHOLagos2 reunion.”
Iyabo Ojo faced criticism following her altercation with fellow cast members, Laura Ikeji and Faith Morey.
Explaining her approach to the show, she revealed that she deliberately embraced the role of the villain in the second season after producers informed her of her low ratings in the first season. She elaborated on her strategy during an Instagram post in 2023, emphasizing the necessity of drama on a show like “The Real Housewives.”
She stated, “There is no real housewives without drama, It is not possible. So if you choose to not give drama, you know you have to be on the calm side.”
