I was an armed robber, terrorist at 14 — Pastor Odumeje

He credited his transformation to his mother who introduced him to the path of salvation and guided him to Christ.

Controversial pastor Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has opened up about his past involvement in armed robbery at the young age of 14.

Odumeje shared that he grew up in a rough neighborhood in the Onitsha area of Anambra State, which led him down a path of crime.

In a now-viral video, the pastor detailed his journey from a life of wrongdoing to his eventual transformation into a man of faith.

Reflecting on his troubled past, Odumeje credited his mother for guiding him to Christianity and helping him turn his life around.

Odumeje said: “I was born in Onitsha city, No. 3, Nnewi Street, and I grew up in a dangerous street. I became an armed robber at the age of 14. I became a terrorist. Until Jesus Christ arrested me through the help of my mother to change my life. And a destroyer became a saviour.”
