I turned down $3m offer to perform at Trump’s New York rally – 50 Cent

He explained that he declined the offers because he prefers to avoid the divisive nature of politics.

American rapper Curtis Jackson, popularly known as 50 Cent, revealed that he turned down a $3 million offer to perform at Republican candidate Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden in New York.

During an interview on The Breakfast Club, 50 Cent confirmed receiving the proposal, which included a request for him to perform his hit song “Many Men (Wish Death)” at this year’s Republican National Convention for a similar amount.

He explained that he declined the offers because he prefers to avoid the divisive nature of politics. “I didn’t go any further… I didn’t even discuss it with them,” he said. “Politics make me nervous because, no matter what stance you take, there’s always someone who strongly disagrees with you.”
