Reality television personality Mercy Eke has revealed her decision to keep her dating life and relationships private due to past experiences.
In a recent episode of Celebrity Quickies featured on comedian AY’s YouTube page, Eke shared that she has found love again but has chosen to maintain secrecy regarding the identity of her new partner.
“I consider my dating life private. I think I have made a couple of mistakes with my dating life, putting out everything on social media. But lately, I can say this part of my life is still very private” she stated.
Eke also mentioned that she communicates with her mystery partner every day, emphasizing the pressures faced by Nigerian celebrities from their social circles. Despite these challenges, she noted the strides Nigerian celebrities are making.
Earlier, Eke and her colleague Pere Egbi clarified rumors suggesting they were romantically involved, dispelling speculation fueled by their on-screen chemistry during the Big Brother Naija All Stars reality show.
Mercy’s previous relationship with fellow BBNaija contestant Ike began during the ‘Pepper Dem’ edition in 2019 but ended shortly after the show’s conclusion.
