Nigerian musician Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy from the P-Square duo, has reaffirmed his decision to part ways with his twin brother, Peter Okoye.
The feud between the brothers became public when Paul alleged that Peter had filed a petition with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to have him arrested.
During an Instagram live session on Wednesday, Paul expressed his frustration, claiming he was the one doing most of the work while others reaped the benefits.
Speaking in pidgin, he said: “In those days, monkey dey work, baboon dey chop. I’m done with that. I would rather work for myself. Every time, it’s just me singing all the songs. I’m not doing that anymore.”
Paul had also recently hinted that the dispute between him and his brother is more complex than it appears.
P-Square initially split in 2017 and later reunited in November 2021.
