Former EFCC chair Lamorde dies at 61

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the sudden death of Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, one of its former Executive Chairmen.

Lamorde, who was the pioneer Director of Operations and served as the third substantive Chairman of the EFCC from February 15, 2012, to November 9, 2015, was a dedicated and courageous anti-corruption advocate. His efforts and contributions significantly advanced the fight against graft in Nigeria.
