The presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, stated that the federal government is “responding” to the conspiracy of these sub-regional forces.

In an interview with TVC News on Sunday, Ngelale also claimed that some sub-regional forces are “actively conspiring” to undermine Nigeria’s stability.

In response to the recent spate of kidnappings in the country, the presidential spokesperson stated that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is working hard to secure all areas of the country.

Ngelale said the US government has promised to assist in the release of the abducted Kaduna school children.

He said:

“Across the north, we understand that some of the sub-regional geographical forces are actively conspiring against the stability of the Nigerian nation.”

“We are responding to it. We are doing it in a way that is concerted with our neighbours.

“It is worth noting that the United States government has also pledged its assistance to ensure that there is a full return of all school children, who were kidnapped recently in Kaduna.

“We will continue to intensify our collaboration not only within the region but internationally to make sure that some of the regional actors that are conspiring against our nation are brought to justice and ultimately silenced for the future of our country.”

Recently, bandits abducted over 200 students from a primary and secondary school in the Kuriga community of Kaduna’s Chikun LGA.

Days later, bandits kidnapped some Tsangaya students in Gidan Bakuso, Gada Local Government Area, Sokoto.
