Operatives from the Sokoto Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended 13 suspected internet fraudsters in Sokoto, Sokoto State.
The suspects were arrested on Saturday in the Gidan Yaro and Dandima areas following actionable intelligence on their involvement in internet-related crimes, according to an official EFCC statement released on Monday via X.

The agency further revealed that all the suspects claimed to be students of Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.
They will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.
