Popular Nigerian media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has revealed his struggle with three health ailments and undergoing surgery in 2023.
The Big Brother Naija host, who did not disclose the specific ailments, shared that he ended last year with surgery after facing multiple health challenges throughout the year.
Ebuka mentioned that his focus for 2024 is on “fixing” his body. On his X handle on Tuesday, he wrote, “Had 3 health scares in 2023 and ended the year in surgery… Fixing the body in 2024.”

In other news, he recently criticized the Super Eagles for their poor performance in the 2-1 defeat to Benin Republic during the 2026 World Cup qualifying series on Monday. He expressed his disappointment with the Super Eagles’ overall performance in the qualifying series.
“Three points from a possible 12 is beyond disastrous. I still haven’t recovered from yesterday,” he tweeted on Tuesday morning.
