Court orders VeryDarkMan to delete defamatory video made against Femi Falana

The court further instructed VeryDarkMan to refrain from making any further comments about the Falana family.

A high court in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Tuesday, ordered social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, to remove defamatory videos targeting human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN.

The court further instructed VeryDarkMan to refrain from making any further comments about the Falana family.

This legal action follows Falana’s disclosure that he was resisting the urge to file a criminal complaint against VeryDarkMan, who had accused him of allegedly facilitating a pardon for cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.

On September 24, 2024, VeryDarkMan leaked a voice recording of Bobrisky, in which the cross-dresser recounted how singer Falz contacted him during his six-month jail term.

In response to these allegations, the Falana family had issued a letter demanding that VeryDarkMan retract his statements and issue an apology within 24 hours.
