Court grants Cubana Chief Priest N10m bail, two sureties

The Federal High Court in Lagos State, on Wednesday, granted businessman Pascal Okechukwu, generally known as Cubana Chief Priest, N10m bail with two sureties.

Standing before Justice Kehinde Ogundare, he faced three charges concerning the mishandling of the national currency. He is accused of both spraying and altering the money during a social gathering, a violation of the regulations outlined in the Central Bank Act of 2007. The purported incident took place on February 13, 2024, at the Eko Hotel.
