Coroner summons Naira Marley, Prime Boy, Sam Larry over Mohbad’s death

In the ongoing inquest to ascertain the cause of Mohbad's death, has directed the music figures to appear before it on October 25.

A Lagos coroner court based in Ikorodu has issued summonses to music personalities, Abdulazeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, Owodunni Eletu also known as Sam Larry, and Owodunni Ibrahim also known as Primeboy, regarding the demise of Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The court, in the ongoing inquest to ascertain the cause of Mohbad’s death, has directed the music figures to appear before it on October 25.

Their presence is sought to provide insights into the incident and potentially identify any individuals accountable for the tragic occurrence.

Initial investigations into the passing of the Nigerian singer commenced on Friday, September 29, at the Magistrate court in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The coroner instructed the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, to ensure the attendance of the music artists on the scheduled date of October 25.

The Coroner’s Court is tasked with examining the circumstances and reasons behind specific deaths deemed unnatural, violent, or cases where the cause remains unclear.
