Cardi B denies getting paid to endorse Kamala Harris for president

She dismissed the speculation, asserting that she wasn’t compensated for the appearance.

Rapper Cardi B has refuted claims that she was paid to speak at a rally for U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris in Wisconsin, where she endorsed the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate.

Cardi B addressed supporters at Harris’ rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday, offering her endorsement for the Democratic candidate in this month’s election.

Following her appearance, rumors surfaced suggesting she received payment for participating. Taking to her X handle, Cardi B dismissed the speculation, asserting that she wasn’t compensated for the appearance.

“I did not get paid a dollar for this… I’ve been discussing these issues freely on my platforms for the past couple of years! Before becoming a celebrity, I lived in poverty for 24 years, so no one can tell me what I hope to see in my community,” she wrote.
