American rapper Cardi B has officially announced the end of her marriage with former Migos rapper, Offset.
During an Instagram Live session, the Bodak Yellow rapper revealed that she has been “single for a minute now.”
She expressed her hesitation in sharing the news, stating, “I’ve been single for a minute now. But I’ve been afraid…not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world.”
Cardi B acknowledged that she wanted to share the information during a previous Live session but changed her mind. She mentioned that this has been the situation for a while.
Looking ahead to the new year, Cardi B expressed her excitement for a fresh start in 2024. She stated, “I want to start 2024 fresh…open. I don’t know. I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning.”
This confirmation comes shortly after Cardi B and Offset unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Last week, Cardi B posted cryptic messages on her Instagram stories emphasizing self-love, focusing on herself, and shedding what she referred to as “dead weight.”
In her statements, she emphasized the importance of ridding herself of mental and emotional burdens. She conveyed her plans for the upcoming year, highlighting her desire to focus on her career, finances, and personal growth.
Cardi B also indicated that she had outgrown the relationship and was weary of prioritizing other people’s feelings over her own.
