President of the United States of America, Joe Biden has announced that he will not be seeking re-election in the upcoming 2024 presidential race.
“After careful consideration, I have decided not to accept the nomination and will concentrate all my energies on my duties as President,” Biden stated.
Biden has also officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election.
“Today, I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year,” he announced.
Biden bowed out after weeks of pressure that began with a disastrous debate performance that raised fears over his capacity to beat his opponent Donald Trump.
