Evicted Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Mickey, has admitted to lying about his age during his time on the show.
In a post-eviction interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Mickey revealed that he misled his fellow housemates, claiming to be 28 when he was actually 24. He explained that he lied due to the way Ozee often fixated on age.
“I’m 24 years old. I lied to Ozee that I was 28 because of how he is. He always brings up age in conversations,” Mickey said. “There was a time he told me he was in Nigeria before I was born, and it really upset me. That’s why, when he and Fairme were arguing, I told Fairme to just ignore him and leave, because Ozee would never admit defeat.”
Mickey also took the opportunity to apologize for his treatment of fellow housemate Wanni, admitting that he had misjudged her.
“I won’t lie, it took me a long time to realize that Wanni has a soft heart. I apologize for that. Wanni is actually a very kind girl,” he said.
Previously, Mickey had vowed to “force” Wanni and her twin sister, Handi, to voluntarily leave the show, accusing them of being “rude.”
