Josephine Otabor, famously known as Phyna, the ex-winner of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show, narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt in Delta State on Saturday.
In an update shared on her official X account that same evening, she recounted the harrowing experience.

According to her, while traveling in a convoy, one of the vehicles veered off the road, prompting a minor accident. Concerned about the lateness of the hour, her car and another decided to proceed with the journey.

Shortly thereafter, the occupants of the four cars ahead of hers were abducted by kidnappers. They forcefully took them out of their vehicles, leaving them stranded on the road. Witnessing the chaos and fearing for her safety, Phyna described how vehicles were hastily turning around and reversing in an attempt to flee the scene, leaving her trembling with fear.
