Nollywood actor Kunle Remi and his wife Tiwi, who joyfully revealed their marriage on New Year’s Day, recently shared the enchanting moments from their pre-wedding photoshoot.
On January 19, 2024, Kunle posted an image holding a small goat on his shoulders while standing beside his beaming bride Tiwi. The couple looked stunning in Adire, a traditional Yoruba fabric, against the backdrop of a rustic setting.
In the accompanying caption, Remi humorously stated, “Tiwi, I come to you humbly as a G.O.A.T with a goat… are you ready to dance Ayamii?”
The couple previously treated their loved ones to an intimate denim-themed pre-event named “Cocktail Fhings” on the night of January 18, 2024. During this gathering, the love-struck couple shared numerous kisses in anticipation of their upcoming traditional wedding.
Remi, who initiated the year by announcing his court wedding, recounted the romantic story of proposing to Tiwi in America. He surprised her with a ring, sharing, “I did get on one knee for the culture. But there was no one to record. I couldn’t set up for a content shoot; it steals the spontaneity. Even she didn’t believe me. I just got up and wore the ring on her finger.”
In an interview with Kristina Innemee, Kunle highlighted Tiwi’s confidence as the trait that initially attracted him. He described her as vibrant and attention-grabbing, emphasizing her supermodel aura. The couple is scheduled to tie the knot in a traditional ceremony in Ibadan, Oyo State, on January 19, 2024.
