President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, hosted Governors and Ministers for Iftar in Abuja.
Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara joined other governors at the State House for iftar (breaking of fast) with the President.
Nyesom Wike also attended the occasion.
The president’s annual ceremonies include breaking fast with governors, ministers, security chiefs, and other senior government personnel.
Governors Abdul Rahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, Alex Otti of Abia, Nasir Idris of Kebbi, Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, Hyacinth Alia of Benue, Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, and Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe attended the iftar at the State House.
Other governors present include Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Umar Namadi of Jigawa, Uba Sani of Kaduna, Babagana Zulum of Borno, Abba Yusuf of Kano, Bala Muhammad of Bauchi, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo, Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra, and Monday Okpebholo of Edo.
Senior government officials at the event include Femi Gbajabiamila, chief of staff (CoS) to the president, ministers, and service chiefs among others.
