President Bola Tinubu will address Nigerians via nationwide broadcast on Sunday at 7 a.m.
According to Ajuri Ngelale, presidential spokeswoman, television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are encouraged to transmit using the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
The statement added,
“The broadcast will be repeated on the network services of the NTA and the FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.”
The presidential broadcast is coming 3 days after #EndBadGovernance protests began in various regions of the country.
The 10-day demonstration is a protest of the country’s economic woes.
The protests in the country’s north have been plagued by violence, looting, and property destruction.
In the south, the protest has been largely peaceful.
