The Federal Government has announced Thursday, April 11th, 2024, as an additional public holiday for this year’s Eid-el-Fitr festivities.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Dr Aishetu Ndayako, shared on the ministry’s X account on Tuesday.
The declaration was made by the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, who extended heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah for their dedicated observance of Ramadan, a period marked by spiritual reflection and renewal.
Dr. Ojo emphasized the unwavering commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) to fostering a secure and prosperous Nigeria where every citizen can thrive.
